Real Ale Ray left this review about The Beer House
Four pumps, with three in use serving GK IPA, GK Yardbird and Doombar. I went for a half of Yardbird, which was in good nick, whilst Mrs A went for a half of Peroni, both came to a staggering £5.70. The upside is the impressive interior, which is worth a visit alone.

Called in yesterday after getting off my train at Victoria station, but was that uninspired by the real ale selection I decided not to bother. Last time I was in here was a few years ago and I remember it being very expensive, so I probably had a lucky escape.

Now called Beerhouse Bar, but it hasn't changed really. Still a poor selection of mainly Greene King beers at massively inflated prices. They still take the BITE card for a discount, but it's still overpriced even with the discount taken off.

This bar now sells a cask ale. It had Marstons EPA on when we called in whilst waiting for a train. They also accept the BITE card which brings the price down to a reasonable level. The stained glass dome is pretty impressive, but apart from that it's just a station waiting room.

Large cafe pub near platforms. Real ales available. It can be extremely busy whenever there's something going on at the arena nearby.

Michael Boyes left this review about Pumpkin Buffet & Bar
Large station bar which doubles as a buffet. The best thing about it is the decor mainly the stained glass roof. Keg beers only. The bar could do better for the people that pass through.

This is a spacious, one roomed set up which sells coffee and snacks on the left of the bar and alcoholic drinks to the right. After quite a lengthy stint propping the bar up,a barman arrived and i ordered a pint of Worthington's Creamflow which seemed to have seen better days. There is one impressive feature of the building and that is the stained glass dome on the roof.
