Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Fox
Almost out in the country, and much closer to Chadwell St Mary than Orsett. Apart from that, it has an unusual full-gable facade with doors at each end leading to semi-separate bars (connected via the bow window at the front). Quite plainly furnished at decorated, but tidy. Has a dartboard on the left-hand room and several wooden benches at the front. Adnams Southwold (£5.00) on one of the three handpumps, with reversed clips for Landlord and Abbot on the others.
