A cocktail bar type place of two rooms up a few steps from the street. I saw in Tyke Taverner it had cask beers so popped in for a pint. Should have had a half, my Saltaire Blonde was more than a bit naff, I expect the Taylors Landlord would have been about the same. The counter is in the front room on the right, one horseshoe with a mix of mostly the usual and one from Salt, two pulls with beers as stated. Tall or short tables and chairs furnishings, the decor is slightly woody or plant based; note the bar’s name, there’s an arch of balloons over the entrance - umm. The back room is more refrained and has a pool table. No screen or machine but as you would expect appropriately it has piped music. Toilets are downstairs in an interesting vaulted cellar.
