Now rebranded as Carousel and not so much a pub as an entertainment centre for the young. The bar area is incredibly garish and set out as its name suggests, with a circle of booths tricked out like a carousel in bright colours with an abundance of matching lights. The curved bar counter round one side has imitation roundabout horses overhead. Through a doorway at the back is a vast collection of game machines in a sort of fairground style and including electronic darts, shuffleboard and lord know what else. Needless to say there is loud and conflicting music in both sides. I was at first perturbed by the lack of beer taps on the counter, then spotted a keg wall behind, mostly predictable stuff but it did include Salt Alpacalypse, overpriced of course. Frankly not worth bothering with.
