Blue Scrumpy left this review about The Commercial
The Commercial stands at a crossroads on the main road through the village of Kirkby-in-Furness. Early on a Sunday evening, it had a good sized local crowd and a lively atmosphere. There was a mixture of ages and sexes.
There are 4 handpulls on the bar, but with just Black Sheep Best Bitter & Marston's Wainwright on, the beer range was uninspiring. Ciders were Inch's & Somersby Blackberry. Service from the old school barmaid was friendly and efficient.
A TV was showing horse racing, whilst music was playing. There is a darboard in one corner. A small car park can be found to the side of the pub.
A fairly mundane pub but the busiest of the two in the village.
