Cask was Okells Best & MPA. Keg was Carling, dark fruits and original SB, Madri, Falcon lager from Okells, Guinness, Orchard Isle apple cider also from Okells.

Pleasant boozer, popular with local trades on my teatime visit. Pub of two sides, busy side akin to public bar had bar counter in left hand corner on a tiled skirt with most punters perched on tall stools at the bar counter. Seating to the immediate side and front of bar counter via leather banquettes serving regular tables. Carpeted area to the side and rear of this area, with a pool table taking pride of place, the area having half wall height dark wood panelling and a trophy display area. Quite a few TV screens showing TNT Sports News. Cutting through the bar counter took me to other side, with its own bar counter offering the same quaffs. This side felt more lounge bar with a bare boarded area by the bar counter and a few tall tables opposite. Rest of space was carpeted with regular tables and chairs and a few regular tables served by a red leather banquette along the wall under the front windows. Good amount of wood panelling on the walls and a fire grate with what looked like a gas fire but not switched on during my visit. There was a dartboard on the wall near the walkthrough from the public bar. Some attractive leaded windows, some of the smaller ones with stained glass.
