A partially tiled multi-roomed Sam Smiths pub. There's a small snug to the right as you enter, another small room up a couple of steps to the left and a much larger room to the rear. The pub has a pool table and 2 dartboards. There's some neat internal tiling and some decent fireplaces, but overall it's a bit scruffy and needs some TLC. The pub is much better than the clientele who seemed to use f**k every third word despite the female barmaid and also a small child being in the pub. There's no real ale and a half of bitter was 90p. I won't ever be calling in here again.

The White Gates Inn is a decent looking pub that has got a tiled lower front,once inside the pub seemed pretty much unaltered with three rooms that i noticed,i had a drink in the bar and this was a very nice room to sit and have a drink in.
This pub was a Samuels Smiths tied house when i went in it and there was one real ale on the bar this was Samuel Smiths Old Brewery bitter and this was a very nice drink.
I quite liked this pub and would happily go in here again.
