Steve of N21 left this review about The Greyhound

High street Greene King run pub which sounds largely unchanged from the review below. Obviously, food led as you would expect in a tourist attraction village like Lavenham, and it feels more like a restaurant than a pub and most areas around the bar and especially the extension area to the back are all laid for dining. There is however a very nice garden area outback with lots of modern wicker furniture which is a nice spot for a beer. On that front only two pumps on the small serving bar and as the Abbott was reversed, GK IPA it was then, which was OK but not spectacular. If I had to pick a food focussed establishment on Lavenham High Street for just a beer, it would be the Swan Hotel for me.

Real Ale Ray left this review about The Greyhound

The building dates from 1324 and became a hostelry in the 15th Century. The bar is situated in the centre of the pub and is surrounded by Jacobean oak and beams. A very welcoming pub and all their food including desserts are made on the premises. On handpump GK IPA, and Abbott Ale.
