Strongers . left this review about The Fife Arms
The entrance, with a ‘The Fife Arms’ mosaic in the floor, opens into a bar with a stool lined serving counter that supports standard keg and Cruzcampo up the right wall. During a recent midweek visit there were a few locals chatting with the friendly landlady while Racing TV was aired at a low volume. Patched up threadbare padded benches run up the left-hand wall and across the rear, and a couple of tables with chairs sit in the front windows. On the left-hand wall is a stone fireplace and in the centre of the room is an exposed brick pillar encircled with a beer shelf and some more stools. The right-hand bar was lights out so I didn’t get to have a look, but I imagine that this is where the advertised ‘free for hire’ function room is found. This isn’t somewhere I’d go out of my way to revisit, but it’s a friendly place so I’d pop back in if passing.
