Estate pub situated well out to the east of the city, near to the Hull Kingston Rovers rugby ground. The pub once served cask ale, but now the two handpulls simply have a sign hanging over them stating "if as*holes could fly, this place would be an airport"! Keg options were Magners & Magners Dark Fruit, John Smith's, Coors, Moretti, Stella Artois, Guinness, Carling & Strongbow.

The main front room has 4 TVs. Ones at either end were showing Wimbledon tennis and horse racing from Haydock. One to the side of the bar was showing greyhound racing. Another behind the bar was off. Music was also playing. With a games machine in one corner and locals playing dominoes at one table, it was quite a noisy drinking environment. Children are also allowed in. The room is decorated with a mix of bare boards, carpet and wallpaper.

A second room contained a pool table which was in use during our visit, whilst quite a few people were sat outside on picnic tables. There is a bus stop immediately outside the pub.

This is very much a community local but not one I'd have any reason to venture out of the city centre for.
