A CAMRA * Heritage pub. Inverse J shape with a three-sided bar. Tongue and groove wood panelling on the walls and lower servery. Embossed Fleur-de-lys upper, stained glass windows, tiled fireplace, plenty of brewery mirrors – all rather nice. Surprised to see two Cromarty cask ales in Kowabunga (NBSS 3.5) and Red Rocker (3); it's not GBG listed but I think it should be. There’s plenty to have a look at with a decent ale in hand and well-worth wheezing up the hill to sample, or jump off at Falkirk High BR if you prefer gravity-assist. 7.5
