Went back to check if any changes. Now down to two hand pulls from 3
It seems very popular with the grey pound at lunchtimes, 2 meals for a tenner no doubt helps
Unfortunately on my visit the cooling in cellar was duff, so lots of beers & lagers were just awful, the staff could not pour a pint due to froth [outside temp was in the 80sF]
Staff were friendly and helpful, changed my pint of vinegar to one of cider without qualms
It would be unfair to rate on this one off day, so I will not do so

Not sure what to make of this, more restaurant / pub than pub
Went lunchtime Wed
Clean & pleasant enough, in a "Whitbread corporate" way, part of the "Table Table" chain, Muzak, 3 slot machines with stools
I had Ringwood bitter, 3 draught bitters available, rest is usual lager / cider. £2.58 pint, it was OKish, nothing to moan or wow about
Food, ordered ham & cheese baguette, then found they had no ham, bit annoying, place was empty, I was first customer that day, hardly a rush on ham was it?
Settled for tuna & mayo + chips + salad
The baguette was in fact half a baguette, and was not crusty, but I suppose for the money [£4.45 all in]it was fair value
OK for office lunch, or Premier Inn clients but not much else
