Cask here was Jemima’s Pitchfork from Glamorgan Brewing Co plus an unclipped handpump. Keg options of Guinness and the AF version, San Miguel, the unfiltered version of Stella, Kopparberg crisp apple cider, Estrella and Camden pale ale.

Popular roadside venue with decent amount of seating at the front via picnic style benches on grass. Inside it’s a rectangle along the frontage. The bar counter is over on the left-hand side of the venue, tiled with some tall stool seating at the bar counter and regular tables and chairs. There is an internal divider housing a log burner between the bar area and the larger dining area to the right-hand side of the venue. The dining area is also ceramic tiles and houses many regular tables and chairs. There is an extension of the bar counter with tall stool seating at the bar counter along the rear wall. Bit of a proper trip down memory lane for me this one as used to be a regular visit in the 90’s with my parents for their sizzling steak platters and well remember the fabulous couple that used to run this place in those years. Nice to see the venue surviving and busy with drinkers if not diners on my visit.
