Busy pub, particularly so as there was a quiz on going during my brief stay here at the end of the evening. In fact it was so busy I found it more enjoyable standing outside and escaping the very youthful energy inside. Another one in the heart of Cardiff Uni student-land!

There was at least a cask option here, one dispensing London Pride which to be fair was perfectly fine and one dispensing a cider that I didn’t record the name and can’t remember a I type this review early the following morning.

The pub itself is quite an attractive and reasonable size building with old school furnishings and carpets in the main front bar and then boards in the back where there are a couple of pool tables. TV’s on the walls were showing the evening footy with the volume down for the on-going quiz. Saying that I can’t see a return visit.
