A pub with a surprisingly large footprint. Multiple rooms done to a high and cosy standard, the rear hunting lodge style one with tartan furnishings was a nice place to sit as we simply couldn’t get anything near the bar, so crowded was it with a bustling atmosphere. A multitude of ales on the bar, two from Vale of Glamorgan (the Pale was excellent), Jemma Pitchfork, Skinner's Cornish Knocker, Dark Star APA, Rudgate Ruby Mild, Salopian Lemon Dreams / Renaissance, Oakham Citra / Bishop's Farewell plus a cider. Desmond and I agreed that we wouldn’t mind doing a session in here. Well-worth a special visit, this is a pub doing very well.

it is a nice clean pub with good food always a nice welcomed when you go there and i have some good friends as well over the years i have been going the land lord bought it off my brother
