A loud place, clearly the venue in town for a number of the less-conforming teenage demographic, a good number of whom were well-oiled. Two pumps, Brains SA (poor, left it) and Wadworth 6X. No half glasses so I had a rather generous portion in a pint glass; shame it wasn’t the same nectar as available in Kings Arms. Lost a quid in the jukebox as it decided to play something utterly different than my hard-earned choices (karma, eh?). Pool table located downstairs. Not one I could imagine revisiting in a hurry, didn’t leave a particularly brilliant first impression. Teenagers probably all drink Snakebite and Jaegerbombs anyway?
