Quite a remote village pub offering a warm welcome and a cosy drinking environment. There is a single room with a central bar and lots of different types of furniture packed in. On a summer Saturday afternoon, it was still cold enough for the real fire to be lit. On the same wall is a TV and a dartboard. Toilets are outdoors to the rear.

The cask ale here is Evan Evans Cwrw. On arrival, I asked what cider the landlord had got and he directed me to the rear of the bar, where he had 28 different bottled varieties. I chose one from Thirsty Farmer.

Customers all appeared to be locals. There were just a couple in when we arrived, but at least 2 more had arrived by the time we left. Opening times are fairly limited, with weekends being your best bet for a visit.
