In darkness when I drove past, I missed it first time of asking and had to turn around. The reason for the darkness was that it was closed for "staff holidays". At least, social media had been updated. But to let all staff go on holiday at the same time doesn't feel like the greatest of ideas.

Average sort of main road pub which serves food all day. There is a reasonably traditional appearance to the main bar room, with a side dining room, but it all felt a bit transient with too many large tables set out for eating. Ales on were Tomos Watkins Swansea Jack and something I thought said Golden Beacon which I can't trace. Perhaps a useful watering point if passing but I wouldn't have said it was worth a special trip.
