peter ashworth left this review about Royal Oak Inn
The Royal Oak stands on the main square of this lovely village. It is named after a ship and not the customary Boscable oak that King Charles II hid in after the battle of Worcester. It is a nice small pub with low ceilings and a large garden to the rear. It offers accommodation and serves a variety of traditional food and is about 5 minutes walk to the racecourse, but be warned on a race meeting day the beer prices rise considerably
