Komakino . left this review about The Embankment
Staying at the nearby Bedford Swan, we ate at this Mock Tudor-fronted pub overlooking the Ouse. More focussed on diners than drinkers, although a semi-division seems to be those in front of the bar drink, and those to right and beyond the bar dine. Just Adnam's Ghost Ship and Timothy Taylor Landlord spotted on two of the three pumps. A keg Brewpoint (Chas Wells) Foghorn was palatable. The Gordon Arms and Devonshire are a five minute walk from here, in the estate behind and are eminently better bets.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Embankment Hotel
In a great spot overlooking the river, so it must be a popular spot in the summer. Had a decent enough pint of Bombardier, but it's far too upmarket for me...
