Strongers . left this review about The Longstore
The Longstore is a steakhouse, but there are a couple of high tables at the front of the large L-shaped counter that runs up the right. There are also stairs that lead up and down, but I didn’t investigate. The service was very friendly, but only premium and craft keg available was available. I didn’t feel uncomfortable just having a drink, and I think there’s a happy hour early evening in week so drinking is encouraged, but I would go just for a beer again.

Gill Smith left this review about The Bustopher Jones
Called today but it was closed. Signs all show it is called Bustopher's Bar & Bistro. At a neighbouring shop I found it is normally open lunchtime, but maybe closes Monday. Interesting board outside says largest collection of craft beers in the south west, so will have to try another day. I could see loads of bottles along the bar through the window.
Above was 23.6.14, and we managed to get in lunchtime today. There was a Padstow Pale Ale beer on, but it was the bottled beer that attracted us, and we enjoyed a couple of Belgian beers. There is a varied and interesting menu, and most tables set for dining. Lovely background music. There is an outside seating area through the bar and past the kitchen area, down some steps.
