i tend to visit here every time i'm in the area simply due to its convenience but never fail to be disappointed. it used to be the Phoenix and was expensive dross then. it's arguably now even more so. it has a captive market of the affluent, pretentious and gullible and takes full advantage. two tiers inside which are very basic - a pool table, some wooden tables and chairs and virtually nothing else. Tribute the only real ale at £4.60 a pint. I would recommend going elsewhere but it's a bus or uphill walk of miles to reach anything else. food available but we're talking £15 for a burger and chips here.
