Smartly run pub in idyllic location (apart from the nearby chemical works that is) overlooking the estuary and former canal lock. Plush and comfortable, if a little dark, with a long conservatory extension. A couple of good local ales on and food seemed popular. The location is its main selling point, but wouldn't mind returning.
