Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Southern Belle

Strange place. From a distance, the large front patio partly sheltered by awnings and partially screened by some planters suggests something reasonably upmarket. However, as you approach, you see that it is all a bit rough looking and as you step inside the cavernous interior you appear to have entered an American pool hall (with something like seven tables in use). The middle section around the bar has plain furniture and a few people were eating some mid-price bar food, despite the noise and distracting sports TVs, and there is a stage area at the back. Slightly surprisingly, there are two handpumps offering Sambrooks Wandle and Junction (£3.50). Overall, not somewhere where I felt very comfortable (but at least the beer was OK).
