Old Blue left this review about The Odd Wheel
The Odd Wheel has a large restaurant area one side, fairly busy with a mixed clientele on our Friday evening visit. The smaller bar on the other side offered a pool table, juxebox and football on screen and had a more lively, younger clientele. The decor and furnishings are modern and devoid of traditional features. However, the welcome and atmosphere were warm and friendly and I was pleasantly surprised to find five hand pumps on the bar, fully populated with Sharps Cornish Knocker and Juniperous, Dartmoor Jail Ale, Tribute and Doombar, the first three of which we tried and found to be in very good shape. A ‘this week’s ales’ board above the bar also mentioned one or two others. Food was good and the service excellent, and the lunchtime and early evening special offers certainly worth a go.
