Very basic back street local, with pool table taking up most of the space. Uncomfortable but has two good real ales

Honest-to-goodness basic backstreet boozer. Pretty open-plan with a prominent pool table to the right and an unused fireplace. Unusual boxed two-tone bar front and upper. Neutral decor and a big screen TV switched off. Three pumps with two on (Tavy Pale and St Austell HSD) both of which were in very good nick, so I can see why it makes GBG. Wouldn’t neccessarily make a special trip out to sample it though, unless you’re SymiSi or a similar GBG completist.
