Strongers . left this review about Westward Inn
I popped into the Westward Inn on a recent Thursday afternoon when the left hand side was busy with retired couples and a young family who were all dining. The carpeted interior is open plan with seating that is broken up by some waist high walls that run between old wooden supporting pillars. Entering from the from the left-hand car park side, the serving counter runs along the rear wall and to the right is an ice-cream trolley. Premium keg was available alongside Carlsberg and I counted three hand pumps with St Austell’s Tribute being the cask option. The service was polite, but it was a bit sedate and the right-hand bar looked like the lights were out when I peered through the back bar. A skittle alley is advertised in the car park, but I didn’t investigate. I think this place is a bit out in the sticks to warrant a revisit.

As a local, might be a bit bias! Have seen a number of owners at the Inn. Lou the present landlady is doing a great job trying to revive the place. The beers and the staff are both pleasant and the Pub Grub above the norm.I am happy!
