E TA left this review about The Green Man

A very pleasant village pub, no frills, but an excellent social centre. The Victorian building is set in its own grounds and has a car park and garden. Inside, there is a dining room, cheap table but it looks welcoming enough. The U-shaped bar is comfortable and cosy and has WiFi, television and an open fire. The décor is a bit dated, but there are some interesting framed prints on the walls. The carpets give the place the feel of an elderly aunt’s parlour, but the staff are very friendly and the locals civilised. Three pumps on the bar, two ales on – I had Exmoor Ale, which was in excellent condition. I’d be happy to drop back in any time when passing.
