Strongers . left this review about The Plough

The J-shaped Plough has a central tile floored bar with an L-shaped stool lined serving counter that faces padded benches and a couple of tables in the windows to the front and dining seating on well-trodden bare boards up the left. Up the right is more bare board with seating and tables that weren’t set for dining, so I assume this is the bar seating. Out the back is a beer garden with decking and patio seating that overlooks a pond and the Sussex countryside beyond. Available from the bar were Harvey’s Best, Long Man’s Blonde and Golden Flush from Water Works based up the road in Rye alongside a premium keg range. The service from the two barmaids was very friendly and I enjoyed the Best, but this pub is a bit out of the way to warrant a revisit.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Plough

Modernised and opened-out dining pub on the approach to the tourist hot-spot of Rye. Light furniture and restrained decor throughout the L-shaped interior, with the picture windows overlooking the Brede valley from the left-hand dining room being a highlight. With two of the three handpumps in use, I found the ubiquitous Harvey's on one and the local Three Legs Pale #3 (£5.00) on the other.
