No cask. Keg offering of Guinness and the AF version, Appleshed cider, San Miguel, Budweiser, Stella, Camden Hells and Eazy IPA. Some 500ml bottled ales, Long Man Best, Newcastle Brown Ale, Doom Bar and Sharps Atlantic Pale Ale.

Glass fronted bar by the Waitrose in the town centre. There are a couple of tables on the pavement outside. Inside it is bare boarded with the bar counter in the front left-hand side with some tall stool seating at the bar counter. To the left of the entrance are a few tall stools to sit at tall tables then a sofa-based seating area in the front right-hand corner. A regular table with half a dozen regular chairs occupied the rest of the floor space in the front before a few steps up to the rear seating area with regular tables and chairs then some leather banquettes around the rear left-hand corner. There was a small DJ booth in the front left-hand corner of the raised area with a photo booth contraption and wall mounted jukebox. Several TV's around were tuned into Sat lunchtime footy chat shows with no sound (seems a bit pointless for chat shows) with an 80's based pop soundtrack being played. Live sport shown and there is regular live music. Quite a bit of a different vibe to being in the JDW at the other end of the high street on a Saturday lunchtime!

Strongers . left this review about Bar Trend

Bar Trend is a split-level bar with a serving counter and bar stools to the left of the entrance and sofas to the right. Steps lead up to raised seating and a small DJ booth at the rear. At the very rear is a large table with seating that is surrounded by Seagulls memorabilia, I imagine this is prime seating for matchdays. During my recent early Thursday evening visit TNT Sports was being aired on the televisions, a Liverpool early kick-off Euro match I believe. This isn’t the most attractive place, but the welcome was friendly and I felt welcome. My visit also coincided with happy hour so the Stella was £4.05 a pint until 19:00… Happy Days!

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Bar Trend

This place is what 'modern' looks like in Crowborough, but I don't mean this in a disparaging way because it is a well-managed place offering something for most people from breakfast-time to close. No real ale, unfortunately, but had a quick Greene King Ice Breaker IPA (£2.50, half) while waiting for my bus.
