Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Blacksmiths Arms
Large estate pub with two large bars but seemingly few customers. Relatively modern furniture and decor but starting to look a bit worn now. No cask ale, and a very limited keg selection, so made do with a quick Cruzcampo (£2.80, half) before heading onwards.

UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT...........
now under new management the Blacksmiths is now hosting a disco on friday nights and a karaoke/disco on saturday nights
food is now available with a value bar menu ranging from burgars to currys etc .
they have NEW t.v's to watch the football and have plans to bring in SKY at the start of the new season.
well worth a visit ......

This pub is extremely lively and sometimes a bit too busy. Provide good drink deals and good music. I must say though that they are very strict with ID. Went there a few months back and would not accept my provisional as identification (WAS NOT EVEN ALLOWED TO BUY SOFT DRINK!!)
