Komakino . left this review about The Rose and Crown
A charming Olde Worlde village inn that retains its internal subdivisions. You enter into a lobby-type room with sofa seating and a small tea room located via a door to the right. A doorway on the left brings you into a squat corridor with a square public bar to the left, with an uneven flagstone floor, wooden bench seating and some tables and chairs, a large inglenook fireplace, dartboard and tiny bar counter. A door ahead houses the main bar - a small rectangular room where seating is a premium, and a high-ceilinged room at the end of the corridor down a step, which is primarily for dining. With good-natured locals and two locAles on - White Park Cranfield Best and Chiltern Pride of Bucks & Berks in addition to Sharp's Doom Bar, this is well worth a visit if in the area.
