Komakino . left this review about Canaletto
An Italian restaurant in a former public house, which, to its credit, still operates as the latter with a bar area you walk into from the car park and the restaurant area beyond. Low, wooden beams and semi-exposed / part-rendered walls in the bar area with Mediterranean floor tiles and 80s hits in Italian just discernible in the background. Two ales (a third stump unclipped) - Sharp's Doom Bar and Vale Brill Gold. The latter was in great nick and served in a Vale glass too for added effect (£3.70 a pint). You could remove the Italian effect and this would be any renovated country pub, but the fact that they've retained and acknowledged the importance of the public house bit is to be applauded.

Has now reopened as Canaletto, an Italian restaurant. However there is still an area set aside for drinkers who are very welcome.
