Strongers . left this review about The Crown Inn
The Crown is an open plan pub with banquettes along most of the exterior walls and a mix of high and standard seating up the left-hand side of the pub, including a long high table on a central tiled bit of floor. There’s an odd mix of décor with modern duck egg blue painted walls in one area and brick patterned wallpaper in another. There’s also lots of wainscotting and some full wood panelled walls. The serving counter up the right supports standard and premium keg products alongside Camden Hells and three hand pumps that were drawing Ennerdale Brewery’s Pale, GK Peach Cooler and Loch Lomond’s The Gloaming. There were about ten people in during a recent Monday afternoon visit, some background music was playing, and Sky Sports News was on the televisions. I’d pop back in if passing.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Crown Inn
One of the famous 1930s Harry Redfern pubs built for the State Management Scheme, mostly opened-out out inside now but still retaining some character. Thoroughly refurbished in recent years, but looking and feeling well run, deservedly winning a national turnaround award in 2018. Mostly semi-modern furniture and decor, apart from a more lounge-like area directly opposite the bar. Also has a narrow patio area along the main road frontage. Although branded as a Belhaven establishment, I found Hawkshead Bitter and Corby Gold from Great Corby (£3.90) available from two of the three handpumps.
