Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Wheatsheaf
Village local, run by Marston's, and refurbished with quite light furniture and decor. Opened out at some stage to leave a 'L'-shaped bar with the main seating area to one side of the entrance and a pool table on the other. Two large flat TV screens showing football. Didn't obviously do food, but I later spotted some menus on the bar counter and found a separate - and much larger - lounge / dining room (including a conservatory extension) as I left. Four real ales on handpump: Burton Bitter, Boon Doggle (£2.85) and Forty Niner from Ringwood, and Jennings Cumberland.

Alan Winfield left this review about The Wheatsheaf
This is a decent looking pub in a village setting.
The Wheatsheaf has got two rooms the lounge is on the left and there has been a large conservatory added to the rear of this room this room is more food orientated but you can still just have a drink in here the bar on the right is as smart as most lounges and it was very comfortable and also carpeted.
There were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Pedigree and this was a decent drink the other beer was a Marstons seasonal beer.
The pub was quite busy late Saturday afternoon and i thought this was a decent relaxing pub to have a drink in.
