Ian Mapp left this review about The Plough

Appeared, mirage like, 6 miles into a 9 mile walk along the River Thames from Lechlade.

Beautiful Country pub located behind a ruined medieval cross.

Large front garden - a shed selling Gins. Inside, low ceiling and I only got as far as the bar.

A single hand pull on - labelled the Plough Pint - it from the Hook Norton Brewery.

Idyllic.

David Hodkinson left this review about The Plough

A fine Cotswold stone country pub situated down the end of a tiny single track road close to the River Thames in the hamlet of Kelmscott, a couple of miles from Lechlade.Usually 3 real ales on including one from the nearby Halfpenny brewery, great food, and nice gardens for good weather drinking, a bonus too, its open all day. Well worth a detour!
