The Ellesmere was a typical early 70s built pub that was stuated on the busy liverpool road.
Once inside the pub had two decent sized rooms,we had a drink in the bar which was at the front of the pub,this room was fairly basic with a pool table in it and bench type seating.
The pub was a Boddingtons tied house and there were two real ales on the bar,we had a drink of Boddingtons bitter and this was a very nice drink,the other beer was Boddingtons mild.
We were quite happy having a drink in this pub,it is a great shame that it is now no longer a pub.
