Old Boots left this review about Swan Hotel

A half timbered exterior hides a multi space partially modernised interior, a mixed pallet of cream walls and baby poo colour on the woodwork, a mix of plaster, exposed brick and wallpaper elsewhere. Some walls have drivel slogans painted on, you know them as you’ve seen them many times before. Smaller inside than it looks from outside, you enter on the side by the car park into an enclosed vestibule with small glazing which leads into a narrow room of high seating with an arts and crafts fireplace and a screen. A little further on is the main bar with a U shaped counter, the front and left-hand faces used as a serving space. Three hand pumps with just an average Theakston’s Best on one, one T-Bar and some solos for the macro brew fans. Left of the counter is a space with a pool table and to the right a seating area. As a positive it’s near the railway station.
