Strongers . left this review about The Chapel House
The vault of the Chapel House to the left was closed for refurbishment, but I did spy through the back bar that the dartboard has remained untouched. A strong smell of paint was evident in the lounge bar to the right where ten or so locals were in situ. The bar on the left wall faces a carpeted L-shaped seating area and a fireplace with a television above that was showing muted Racing TV. The laminate floor area at the rear has banquette seating that is overlooked by a larger television that was showing muted darts on Sky Sports. There was very cool old school funky dance playing from the jukebox, I was a fan. The bar supports the usual Holts keg and the four handpumps were all badged with Bitter. I enjoyed my visit here and thought this was one of the better Holts pubs I’ve visited, although this may have been down to being high off the Dulux.

The Chapel House is a large victorian pub that is to the south of the middle of Denton.
Once inside the pub had two rooms with a smart lounge and a more basic bar,i had a drink in the lounge as this was the bussier of the two rooms, the room was carpeted and had comfortable bench seating and normal tables and chairs.
The pub is a Joseph Holt tied house and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Holts bitter and this was a very nice drink that was also very cheap, the other beer was Holts mild.
I quite liked this pub.
