Old Boots left this review about The Queen O' T' Owd Thatch

More usually known locally as “The Thack”. Modernised into a dining pub, the emphasis is firmly on food but not to the exclusion of drinkers. Apparently double fronted the inside has been knocked into three spaces, to the left a split level dining area, in the middle seating mostly for drinking, the counter is mainly in this space with a nice flag floor, to the right is a snug set up for more dining. All very tastefully decorated with pictures and the odd nicnack. Out front is a pleasant grassed area with shaded picnic tables. On the counter; three pulls with Bradfield Farmers Blonde, an almost disgusting Black Sheep Bitter served in a nice Doombar glass, the third was unclipped; a forest of solos had an un-outstanding keg range. As I said a food led pub, it turned out to be a long and fruitless walk from the railway station.
