The Lloyds is a large JW Lees pub that has seating out the front that is covered by a couple of jumbrellas. Inside there’s banquette seating along the front and there’s a mix of high and standard tables throughout that are broken up by supporting columns. At the back are three booths that look out through windows onto a bowls club at the rear. A couple of televisions were showing muted BBC News and there was some background music playing. The L-shaped bar support two banks of four handpumps which were both drawing 2x MPA and 2x Bitter. Standard and premium keg is also available. Food is served, I went for the steak and ale pie with chips and mushy peas for £12.75. It was good pub grub. The service was polite and surroundings were comfortable so I’d revisit if passing.

A large JW Lees pub. Open plan and spread around a central bar. Lots of pillars dotted around and on this visit there was, worryingly at first, about 15 prams cluttering up the right hand side as I entered. Although there was a few annoyances to be found I wasn't in long enough for them to get on my nerves. The bar has 2 banks of 4 handpumps but only 3 ales were on which were duplicated. Pioneer, MPA and JW Bitter being the choice. The downstairs toilets are identified as Richard Gere and Julia Roberts. A pretty nice place if a bit quiet on this visit.
