Blues Kitchen has two floors with a bar on each and one of the bars had an upbeat blues band playing on the stage on the rear wall that faced a sea of people of the dance floor. The bars both support premium keg. Whilst supping a pint and witnessing a fight I recalled that I’m too old for this Friday night crap. This was my first and last visit.

This place is a total dump. I called in at 6:30 on Friday to see if anything had changed as I was passing.
The first question I was asked was "Have you paid your entrance fee?"
The answer was of course "No". Don't go, it's one of the worst places in Manchester.

I just find this place a little too scruffy. The walls have holes, chipped paint and leftover blue tack (I gather from posters being put up) all over. It's also kind of dirty and the air ducts seem to be held together entirely by duct tape. My husband says it "supposed" to be like that: "rough and ready". I guess it's a little too authentic for me. Foods not bad though!
