Very cosy backstreet pub with an island bar (featuring ships crests on the upper) and red pub carpet. Five ales available on a Monday which seemed a stretch and inevitably my Ennerdale was a bit flabby (NBSS 2.5). Nice enough and well-worth a look if you're in town, but they could do with dialling-down the cask early in the week so that what’s on keeps shifting if they want GBG status. 6.5
