An ex-church and features in CAMRA's list of quality pub conversions - it is certainly impressive, retaining the old wood beams and stained glass windows along with added multiple raised areas and mezzanine. Very upmarket and food-oriented, a greeter was at the door but I easily ascertained that it’s fine to just drink and that in fact there were half a dozen of us doing just that. Keg only, the most interesting thing was a murky nonsense at £3.30 a half (Unity Brewing Conflux, it says here). Barman had been on a corporate "how to speak to a customer" course, mildly cringe. Worth a nose if you’re nearby but there’s no reason to divert especially.
