E TA left this review about The Lamb Inn
Recently reopened under new management, this town pub feels rather neglected apart from the small garden, which appears new and clean. The the core customers, most of whom were rowdy and unwashed, weren’t very civilised and probably far from sober. Sky Sports was being shown on the TV, and there was a pool table in the front bar. There was no real ale on, so we were offered bottled beers, though nothing of significant interest. While it’s nice to see a pub reopened, I don’t think I’ll be heading back here anytime soon.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Lamb Inn
Curious-looking frontage, with windows on either side of the main door suggesting 'shop' rather than 'pub' and some etched glass with a modern design. However, the main entrance leads to a very traditional 'U'-shaped bar area towards the back of the building. Another partially opened-out seating area and separate dining room are located to either side of the corridor. Also offers B&B accommodation. Quite busy in mid-afternoon with pool and darts players. Just the Best Bitter from the brewery almost across the road (£3.30) was available from the two handpumps.
