Update.
No longer a Hall & Woodhouse pub but a freehouse serving mostly local beer the exception on my recent visit being Adnams Ghost Ship, the others were Ascot Gold Cup, Sherfield TBA, Longdog Bunny Chaser and Hogs Back TEA, not what I would call A list beers but some variety and a welcome change to the previous owners lineup. Its always been a nice looking pub, particularly inside. Upgraded from 5 to 7 and now worth more of a look than before.

A pleasant looking country pub mostly surrounded by open fields, with a few houses scattered along the lane to the front of the pub.upon entering there is a small bar area to your left and a main bar straight ahead although this area is equally small, ales are from Hall&Woodhouse,on my recent visit they were Hopping Hare and Badger Best, unfortunately the conditioning on both was not at its best,Staroprmen was the lager choice along with a usual suspect(cant remember which),cider again memory fails me plus Guinness served from a can then put on one of these agitator gadgets.Because of the countryside location and beer quality not a pub I would use on a regular basis.
