This is a single, small rectangular room, which appears to have previously been shop premises. Internally it's bare floorboarded and all rather jaded, with the bar up against the far right-hand wall. There was no real ale available, despite the presence of two handpumps and a handful of pump clips affixed to the wall behind the bar. A handful of locals were noisily watching the denouement of a domestic rugby union match and I swiftly supped a half of Guinness before leaving them all to it.
