On the 26th of January 2009, Tinniswood Inns acquired The Whitwood Inn.
We are a family run company, based in Yorkshire & along with our award winning chef,
we aim to produce fantastic food, using local produce.
We are open daily from 10am for Coffee
& food is served daily from 12 noon, including Roasts every Sunday.
We have made significant investments in the Whitwood & now have a large outdoor seating area & a multi purpose function room!

Visited on 10/10/08, first time visit and will be the last! I ordered surf & turf which was like cold rubber, chips were soggy and cold. Wife had lasagne which was also cold, after the meal waiter asked if all was ok we said no but no one came to ask during the meal. Waiter was not concerned and offered no refund. Very expensive for poor food and service.

Built in 1998 and called The Trading Post, this attractive family pub had a Canadian wood cabin look inside.
Was forced to close in 2005 when gypsy travellers overtook the carpark! Eventually after their eviction, the pub failed to re-open!
The pub has now been fully refurbished and re-opened as "The Whitwood Inn".
The interior pine wood has been painted cream, the children's play area has been replaced with a pool table, generally, the place now looks more spacious.
