This pub is known locally as "The Killer" as it’s where passengers go to kill time waiting for trains. With a quick change of trains at the nearby station I had only five minutes in the pub so no time to write any detailed notes. From memory and photos, there was just the one real ale on the bar, JW Lees Tan y Ddraig (or Dragon's Fire in English), a 4% ordinary bitter which was in good condition. The ground floor has been opened out, but with discernable areas still to be found, and I went and sat to the left of the bar counter where there were a number of eccentricities to be seen. These included model aeroplanes, a mannequin sitting on a swing, a London Transport request stop sign, and a number of model cars, buses and vans. I'd be happy to spend longer here if necessary.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Old Station Hotel
Substantial JW Lees pub across the way from Llandudno Junction station, with elements of brewer's Tudor on the façade. Central lounge bar, with a public bar at one end and a part-raised dining area at the other. Refurbished, with semi-modern furniture throughout. Patio beer garden at the front. Unfortunately, just MPA available from the three handpumps when I visited.

Over the road from the station and as said elsewhere good while waiting for your train. It can be the last port of call for people who've been on the ale all day so beware of dickheads.

An imposing pub with twin timbered gables located directly opposite Llandudno Junction station. Nicknamed "The Killer" which although sounding rather sinister, is apparently due to the tendency for transient visitors to use the pub to kill time while waiting for a train. A large single space nowadays, the area returns back behind the central bar where there is a food servery. Cheap meal deals are advertised, 2 for a tenner etc. Lots of screens for live sports, mixed seating including high tables. The pub felt a little jaded to me and although probably perfectly useful if you are indeed waiting for a train or watching the match, doesn't have anything to merit another visit as far as I am concerned. Outdoor seating to the front is shared with the car park.
Two handpumps offering Black Sheep Bitter and Wells Bombardier.
