Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Ship Tavern
Traditional riverfront pub, with the U-shaped bar given a simple refurbishment at some stage. Beer garden at the back. London Pride (£4.50) and Doom Bar available from two of the three handpumps.

E TA left this review about The Ship Tavern
A friendly waterside pub dating back a couple of hundred years. Originally it served the workers at the nearby Upnor Hard, but now it’s more of a local. There is a car park and seating area across the road by the water’s edge, and there is a more private garden behind. Inside, the single U-shaped bar has been formed by conjoining three smaller rooms, leaving a chimney stack as evidence. The flooring is laminate, the décor basic with a few nauticalia to add interest. The food is pub grub plus, reasonably priced, unlike the beer which is very much over-priced for the area. Two ales on, Doombar and Pride, both predictably uninteresting but drinkable. Worth a visit if you’re in the area.
